The "Wine Culture Museum" founded in 1996 displays a rich collection of C hinese wine vessels, the wine culture of the aborigines, the industrial development history of Puli Brewery Factory., the history of Taiwan Tobacco & Wine Monopoly Bureau, etc. It has become the most representative wine culture park in Taiwan.
  
Puli Wine Culture Museum was established based on the insisted concept of "Brewing Wine with Culture" and efforts of Puli Winery. It reserves the time and culture, as well as the history and wine aroma.
Therefore, when you step into the Wine Culture Museum rebuilt after the 921 Earthquake, you'll be greeted by the enthusiastic staffs of the Winery who have prepared the cold and warm Shaohsing Wine for you to experience the wonderful taste and aroma.
On the other side is the Winery Product Shop, which offers all kinds of wines, snacks and Popsicles. Here you will find not only the wines, but also a good variety of special foods with Shaohsing Wine, including Shaohsing Popsicles, Shaohsing Rice Cake, Shaohsing Stewed Food, Shaohsing Tea Egg, Elixir Egg, etc. All of them are worth trying! The most popular flavors of Shaohsing Popsicles are: red bean, taro, rice cake, peanut and soybean. Each Popsicle contains 4cc of wine, full of perfectly tender sweetness and aroma.

The museum not only has a rich collection of the documents and relics of Puli's 80 years history of wine industry, but also collects information about various kinds of wine all over the world. It offers a good opportunity for the people in Taiwan to understand our local wine industry and culture, as well as the world wine culture development.
The corridor in the rear area of the first floor displays the post-disaster recovery pictures and the movie clip about Puli Winery and wine brewing process. At the end of the exit of the Culture Museum locates a waterfall of Shaohsing Wine jar, which can't be missed by tourists who visit here. Like the Winery staffs say, this is the only wine jar that is left undamaged by the 921 Earthquake.
Since Puli Winery was opened for tourists and devoted to the promotion of "local wine culture and art of Taiwan", it has attracted over a million tourists and become the "confidence inde" of the tourism industry in Puli. To further develop the tourism industry as well as the wine business will be the future vision and goal.
The Winery looks forward to developing into an "international tourist winery" and working with the related industries and tourism professionals to help Nantou County become a world-class tourist county.
